Free Tea & Coffee for Colleagues – New & Improved Process Now Live!
We are pleased to share that the new and improved process for free tea and coffee for all colleagues is now live.
Behind the scenes, we have been working hard to trial and test a range of options to make sure we get this right. With an organisation of our size, it is important that we land on a solution that is smooth, fair, and sustainable across all our sites.
Over the past few months, several approaches have been piloted to see what works best in practice. We know some of these came with logistical challenges and may not have worked for everyone.
Thank you for your continued patience, support, and feedback while we worked through these trials. Your input has been invaluable in helping us shape a more reliable and accessible process that works for all.
We are excited to confirm that the new ordering system is now live. The order form is available once per quarter (four times a year) and remains open for one week during each cycle – so please make sure to submit your request during that window.
The current order window has now closed.
Please keep an eye on Liverpool News and the Staff App for updates on the next opportunity to place an order.
How it works:
- A Manager (or nominated team member) submits a request for tea and coffee using an online order form.
- You will receive an email with your collection date, time, and location. If you cannot collect in person, a colleague can collect on your behalf.
- Staff ID badges must be shown at the point of collection, as we will have a list of nominated collectors.
Important:
- Tea and coffee requests can be made once per quarter (four times per year)
- Only managers or a nominated team member should submit the form on behalf of the team
- If you are ordering for a small team (fewer than 10 people), please link up with nearby teams to place a joint order and share supplies in communal staff areas where possible
- To help make sure everyone gets a fair share, we will be monitoring order volumes and frequent requests so that we can manage stock fairly across all teams, so please be patient if responses are slower than expected
We hope this new approach makes it easier and fairer for everyone to receive their tea and coffee. Please share this update with your teams so no one misses out.
