Our Council of Governors ensures that we listen to the views of our patients and those living locally, our staff and other interested parties so that we can make improvements to our services and the information about these services.

Our hospitals provide high quality maternity, elective and emergency care services to meet the day-to-day needs of our local communities.

Elections are currently taking place for the LUHFT Council of Governors - the closing date for entries is Monday 17 November. 

We have 12 governor seats available in the following constituencies:

Public 

  • City Region North - 3 seats 
  • City Region South - 3 seats 
  • Rest of England and Wales - 2 seats 

Staff 

  • Allied Health Professionals, Scientists and Technicians - 2 seats 
  • Medics (Doctors) - 1 seat 
  • Non Clinical - 1 seat
