Our first winner is Catherine, newly appointed Assistant Domestic Manager at Broadgreen Hospital. Since starting in July, she has led the recovery of three clinical areas that failed audits, liaising directly with clinical teams and personally overseeing weekly follow-up audits. Her practical support to supervisors and frontline staff during reduced staffing, combined with her focus on training compliance and quality standards, made her the judges' clear choice for this recognition.
Estates and Facilities Shining Star is our monthly recognition of outstanding individuals who go above and beyond in their roles, exemplifying excellence through innovative thinking, problem-solving, and making a tangible difference.

Recognition process
Each month, our panel will carefully review nominations and select a winner who will be congratulated by senior management. Monthly winners will then have the opportunity to be chosen as the overall winner at our annual E&F Staff Awards.
