The Operational Estates team is here to deal with faults and problems related with the building fabric and engineering services throughout our hospital sites, this includes: flickering lights, faulty heating or cooling, blocked drains, broken paving slabs and leaking roofs etc.

The team also carries out comprehensive planned preventative maintenance to ensure the hospital’s infrastructure is safe and operating efficiently and effectively.

There is no direct charge for maintenance repairs, however requests for new work will incur charges.

Repair and maintenance tasks take priority, however, subject to resources being available, we are able to carry out tasks which are not classified as repair and maintenance.
