The Infection Prevention and Control (IPC) Team is a multidisciplinary group of experienced professionals who work across the Trust to protect patients, staff and visitors from healthcare‑associated infections. We provide expert advice, assurance, education and operational support to embed safe, evidence‑based infection prevention practices in all settings.
Our team works collaboratively with clinical teams, senior leaders, estates, facilities and external partners to reduce risk, respond to incidents and outbreaks, and drive continuous improvement.
