We all play a pivotal role in shaping and influencing how we work together to build a safe, kind, inclusive culture.
A way to help do this is to feel comfortable to talk about any poor or inappropriate behaviours we may see or experience in our teams and to tackle these informally whenever appropriate and as soon as possible.
Respectful Resolution is a five-step pathway which helps you to tackle poor behaviours and support you to create a safe environment for your colleagues where they are addressed and discussed openly.
See below information on workshops and briefings.

Resolution of Employee Concerns policy
Live from Monday 1 December 2025
This new policy has been developed for LUHFT employees following consultation with managers, staff side colleagues and staff networks.
Aligned to updated national guidance, this new policy replaces the following policies:
- Anti-Bullying and Anti-Harassment policy
- Grievance policy
The policy gives managers more support through options for informal stages of resolution and sets out clear roles and responsibilities for parties including ensuring managers are empowered to act locally.
To access the policy Click here for the Document Management System and search for Resolution of Employee Concerns Policy
Policy briefing
All colleagues can now access the 30-minute briefing session to learn more about this policy and the support available for all colleagues and people managers. Accessible via self-directed learning on ESR at the point of need.
