We run Clinical trials for patients with Chronic Kidney Disease and those on dialysis. Trials take place in Aintree, Southport and Waterloo.

Current studies:

A study of the Efficacy and Safety of Sparsentan for the treatment of Immunoglobulin A Nephropathy.

This study is testing whether a new drug, BI 690517, can help protect kidney and heart health when taken with empagliflozin.

This study is testing whether lowering phosphate levels in dialysis patients helps them live longer, feel better, and have healthier hearts.

This study is testing different doses of a new drug (CSL300) to find the safest and most effective one for people on dialysis with heart disease or diabetes.

This study will test if giving regular vitamin D (cholecalciferol) to dialysis patients helps them live longer and avoid heart disease, infections and cancer.

This study is testing whether metformin can help slow kidney problems and reduce pain in people with polycystic kidney disease. It compares metformin with a placebo over two years to see how well it works and how it affects day‑to‑day symptoms.

This study is testing whether adding a new treatment to standard kidney medication can further reduce protein leaking into the urine in people with chronic kidney disease and high blood pressure. Participants will be randomly assigned to receive either the combination treatment or the standard treatment alone to compare their effects.
