Haematology research is vital for us to understand more about the conditions that affect our patients. Research provides unique opportunities for patients to receive novel therapies and enables all of us to be a part of the discovery of greater knowledge that will fuel progress in this field.

By participating in clinical research you are making a valuable contribution towards understanding and finding new treatment for rare non-malignant haematologic diseases.

Current research:

Rare Diseases Registry.

Use of Fostamatinib in Adult Patients with Chronic Immune Thrombocytopenia (cITP) who are Refractory to Previous Treatments.

This study is testing a new treatment for immune-mediated thrombotic thrombocytopenic purpura (iTTP) that may reduce or eliminate the need for plasma exchange. The goal is to see if this therapy is safe and effective in managing this rare blood disorder.
