On Saturday 14 June 2025, the podium on Mount Vernon Street will be closed to vehicles between 7am and 2pm to allow for essential site works to take place.
The podium is the road that leads to the Mount Vernon Street main entrance of the Royal via the ramp.
Pedestrians will still be able to enter the hospital via the temporary Mount Vernon Street entrance, where you will be redirected to the Lower Ground Floor. If you require an accessible entrance, please use the lift which is located next to the stairway by the Mount Vernon Street entrance.
Please allow for additional travel and access time.
Security colleagues will be on site and signage will be in place to support with directions.
