Respiratory Department- Aintree Hospital

You have been identified as having lung cancer for which it is not possible to offer a treatment to cure the cancer. Our focus will be on ensuring you receive treatments to control any symptoms you may experience that cause distress together with assessments of how to try to improve your quality of life.

Assessments can also be made to consider what care needs you may need now and in the future as your condition changes. The assessments will also help you to identify where and by who you would wish to receive that care.
