Some Info at a glance

Aintree Domain migration dates

Across 8 zones, from 27th April to 8th May 2026

Royal Domain migration dates

Across 8 zones, from 29th June to 10th July 2026

Currently, our organisation has two separate IT ‘Domains’; they are called the Aintree domain and the Royal domain. That means that staff, depending on their location, will use one of those two domains (this includes Broadgreen and other satellite locations) to log onto a computer and access applications and other resources. Staff, working across sites, will currently have 2 distinct user accounts.

As part of our plans to modernise our digital infrastructure and supporting more efficient cross-site working, all staff user accounts and computers (including laptops) will be moved onto a single UH Liverpool domain; this will result in staff having just one account regardless of the number of locations they work from.

This will also support the implementation of the future Electronic Patient Record and in time other Liverpool based Trusts will join LUHFT on this new domain.

You will receive a new username and be asked to follow specific instructions as part of the migration. Clear guidance will be provided ahead of time, including any actions required.

Please note that your password and your email address will remain the same and will not change .
